Flixster - Showtimes + Tickets App Reviews

My goto movie app... combined with IMDB.

Flixster has been my go-to movie app for years, but just recently, they seem to have broken one of the most important features - being able to see what is playing at ALL of the theaters, not just the theaters that are linked to Fandango. (Hint, Flixster, thats why I liked you better than the Fandango app in the first place.) Being in Los Angeles, and no longer being able to see whats playing at the Laemmle or the Sundance cinemas? That is NOT useful. Please fix this soon, or Ill be going elsewhere.

With the latest update, Im not able to see some of the theaters in my area that were previously listed. Is there a way to search for theaters?

I use this app to find showtimes and definition. Sad to say it no longer sorts showtimes by IMAX, 3D, SD, etc. you have to select the showtime to see your preference. I will be looking for a new app.

I use it every time I want to go see a movie. Its great having one place to go to see movies close by and their show times.

Great app. We always check movie info (reviews, previews, theaters, etc) before we watch and this is our go to app for just that. Good job. : )

Latest update remove my local theater

This is an outstanding movie application that makes it very easy to identify with the closest theaters availability wherever my family and I travel. It takes all of the hassle out of trying to call around for assistance! Great job Flixster!!

This is our go to App for whats playing where and when whether were at home or traveling.

Nice to download an app that is useful and easy to maneuver! I consider it essential for anyone who regularly watches movies.

For some reason I can no longer see my friends ratings even though I am logged in using Facebook. I uninstalled an reinstalled as have my friends. Used to be my favorite part of this app. Anyone else having this problem?

Suddenly unable to see whats playing in IMAX in any theater. Still not showing whats playing in Dolby Cinema either. Used to be such a great app but those days are over. Lots of wasted time waiting for the advertisement to pop up. Not just once but several times while using the app. So, if you are in a hurry, forget about it. Now, the ads include videos too. Finally, since Fandango took over, if you look up a movie and want to see where its playing, you have to click on "Fandango" icon. Really?

Come on. Why did you get rid of showing which theaters are playing each movie, in the movie section? Just so fandango can make money and be the only option? Lame.

This app easily tells you what time movie showings are at all the theaters near you. Also shoes you reviews and ratings of the movies. In other words its exactly what you want

Nothing works on this site. I can never rate a movie ever. App crashes always. Trailers dont load. What a shame.
