If all you want is to know the movies times in your area and get an idea of how moviegoers are responding to each movie, this is a great app.
Truly a very handy app when searching for which movies are showing in which theaters and showing times. Use it to plan trips to theater each time.
I check the reviews on here before deciding to go to the theater or rent it! Saves me a lot of time and money!
I have used on the road and at home and always give me great information on local movie theaters. Highly recommend

Criterion / Movieland Bow Tie theater on Boulevard in Richmond, VA is not included after last update. Please add it back. The theater is alive and well.
Note: it is affiliated with Bow Tie Movieland. Criterion shows indie and soon-to-leave movies. It is on the same lot, but in a separate theater. Fandango app still shows it.

I use this app every weekend. Lately they list IMAX movies on theaters that dont have IMAX screens. Fix this please. I dont like having to double check the theaters app after Flixster.
Some bad moments
Deleted all my favorites. And my movie theater is no longer available. No reason for me to use the app anymore. Bye.
I used to love this app, only use it to keep track of movies that I want to see and to check ratings but lately Im not able to save any movies to my Wishlist or remove them it says I have to log out of Facebook.... when I log out of Facebook, and come back, it still doesnt work. Please FIX!
Posted a positive review on documentary exposing Hillary Clinton. Flixster now blocks me from posting any movie reviews on Facebook. I have contacted the company multiple times and they never follow up. I guess that is their idea of social justice
Keeps hanging up on current location. Keeps using last location until you turn the location off and back on again.
When you click on the movie - you want to see what the plot is about right away. Instead you see a partial plot that is underlined and need to click again for full view of the plot. Show a full plot that is not underlined on the first click
If you enjoy an app crafted to have advertising pop up repeatedly (filling the screen) as you navigate to the movie youre interested in viewing, this is the app for you! The app was once great, but now the full screen pop-ups are so annoying that it is intolerable. The amazing thing is, the trailers we watch are advertisements themselves! - now we are forced to watch advertisements on the way to watching advertisements. Why is the app developer unable to generate sufficient revenue from users clicking on trailers they WANT to see?
So sad how greed destroys so many good apps. This is another once loved app that I am deleting from my phone.
