Flixster - Showtimes + Tickets App Reviews

Just deleted my Flixster app after arriving at a movie with my son and finding out that it was a 3D showing. That info never appeared on the app and as a result we never got to see the movie. The theater guy wasnt surprised and recommended the Fandango app instead. Bye bye Flixster and hello Fandango.

Constantly crashes, never saves ratings, just constant problems.

I love this app, and I still use it a lot. However the problem I have pointed out from long ago is just not being fixed: The showtimes are incorrect, missing and even theaters are missing. Also whether a show is Imax/3D/Dolby is also often wrong. The funny thing is that fandango app itself has none of these issues; their showtimes and theatre are listings are always perfect. I was hoping after the acquisition Flixster will move to fandangos data about listings but they didnt! Lol. This makes the app less trustworthy and frankly useless since every time I have to recheck the listings in fandango app!

I just went to see Kong....the show time said 5:00 pm. I get there and its the 3D showing but the app doesnt show that option for this theater. Apparently you have to get the Officail MJR app to show the correct times and options....why, it shows for other theaters? Please fix

The most realistic, accurate movie review website. In the future, would love for television series to be included.

Love the app, great for getting excited for whats going to be released in the future. My one conplaint is the show times for my area are frequently inaccurate and do not reflect the language of specific play times.

This is the first place I go when Im thinking about movies. Its got everything I need in a very handy compact and accessible format. I would like to see the ticket purchase improved. Otherwise, very highly recommended!
