Flixster - Showtimes + Tickets App Reviews

If all you want is to know the movies times in your area and get an idea of how moviegoers are responding to each movie, this is a great app.

Truly a very handy app when searching for which movies are showing in which theaters and showing times. Use it to plan trips to theater each time.

I check the reviews on here before deciding to go to the theater or rent it! Saves me a lot of time and money!

Good way to keep track of movies

Deleted all my favorites. And my movie theater is no longer available. No reason for me to use the app anymore. Bye.

I have used on the road and at home and always give me great information on local movie theaters. Highly recommend

Update: everything has been fixed. Many thanks! Criterion / Movieland Bow Tie theater on Boulevard in Richmond, VA is not included after last update. Please add it back. The theater is alive and well. Note: it is affiliated with Bow Tie Movieland. Criterion shows indie and soon-to-leave movies. It is on the same lot, but in a separate theater. Fandango app still shows it. Thanks for fixing. !

I use this app every weekend. Lately they list IMAX movies on theaters that dont have IMAX screens. Fix this please. I dont like having to double check the theaters app after Flixster.

What I really want to see is a list of just the movies playing within x miles of me, be able to click the title and see a list of the theaters within range that are playing it, and order tickets. Why does the app not allow "Current location" to use the phones location services? There is no reason I should need to type in a zip code.

Used to be a great app. My go to for movie reviews and dvd release dates. Now they incorrectly list streaming service availability as the dvd release date. Cost me a fruitless trip to walmart. Also they now force ads every time the app is opened.

Use this all the time. Perfect execution. But online their site claims Flixster is for tv as well. Its not. Never has been. Disappointing since its a Rotten Tomatoes product, which features tv also.

I really enjoy using Flixster! I like to see their ratings and rotten tomatoes. Their synopsis of each movie is very helpful as well as the theaters schedules.

I used to love this app, only use it to keep track of movies that I want to see and to check ratings but lately Im not able to save any movies to my Wishlist or remove them it says I have to log out of Facebook.... when I log out of Facebook, and come back, it still doesnt work. Please FIX!

Posted a positive review on documentary exposing Hillary Clinton. Flixster now blocks me from posting any movie reviews on Facebook. I have contacted the company multiple times and they never follow up. I guess that is their idea of social justice

The app is easy to use and makes looking up movies so fast!

It lets me know whats playing without making calls or going on google??❤️ its super fast and good too use when your in a rush for a movie : )

This app generally gets the job done. Some discrepancies with theater location/show times. Otherwise decent.
