Flixster - Showtimes + Tickets App Reviews

I just love this app. I travel quite often and love going to the movies. This app finds all the theaters close by and is a blessing.

I never go to a movie without consulting flixster first!!

Update: Even more annoying ad products have been introduced. The ads in the movie list a so out of context and aggravating Im uninstalling the app today. Forcing users to sign in just to look up a movie is obnoxious. Once you get into the app and get to a movie info screen you get an ad at the top of the page. The ads sometimes look like Facebook UI enticing users to think its a useful feature. Surprise, its really an Ad! App developers, please note the intrusive and irrelevant way this app handles ads as a model to avoid. Back to Fandango for me.

Latest updates have fixed some of the issues with this app like random freezes and so forth. Great app overall with accurate movie times from local theaters.

This would be an ok if it werent for all of the ads. Seems like theres a popup every 10 seconds. Makes it impossible to use.

My husband and I travel a lot, Flixter finds us the closest theater wherever we happen to be. As well, at home its our go-to movie reference.

Flixter said Deadpool was on at 2:05 pm at Disney Springs AMC 24 Theater in Orlando. I drove down, waited in line and tried to buy tix to the 2:05 show. Disney said there is no 2:05 show. I showed them Flixters show time app, as if Flixter was more accurate than the actual theater. No show until 4:50 they said. Flixter is useless if it cant get movie times right. Goodbye forever.

This have been useful ever since Ive gotten it and it been maybe 2-3 years using this app. It does everything I need

Im giving up on this app. It has great info - everything you need to decide about seeing a movie. BUT- it now has ads that jump under your fingers while youre scrolling. They also move on the screen to block what youre trying to see. Bye-bye.

My favorite app for when I wanna watch a movie. It lists movies that are currently out. You can search whats playing at theatres near you and the time, watch trailers, and buy tickets. Have been using it for at least 5 years. Highly recommend.
