Flixster - Showtimes + Tickets App Reviews

Love it and use it all the time. Im a huge movie buff and its a great way to rate movies, look up reviews and watch trailers.

This is what my wife use to vet all movies and purchase tickets

Its the same experience as the normal flixter except I cant access my ultraviolet movies

Used to love this app. Wanted to see trainspotting 2 and wondered why there werent any showings for it on this app in my area. I did some research and found it playing in several theaters in my area, ones that this app shows and lists the movies and times for each movie at each theater. NOT SO. It only lists the movies that Fandango offers tickets for. Sneaky! So you look at movie theater show times thinking those are all the movies currently playing at that theatre but it is not. Very misleading. Not a reliable app for finding what movies are playing in theaters making this app now garbage. Im deleting it. I can only assume Fandango bought this app and obviously wants you to think the only movies at a theatre are ones they offer more expensive tickets for. Screw you Fandango, Ill avoid ever using your services because of this misleading scam that almost led me to miss a movie I really wanted to see.

Locating a cinema I want to visit is not easy, and impossible if you only want to look at what movies are shown in VIP. We only use VIP now, so this is important to me. I live in Ottawa and only want Ottawa cinema listings as I dont want the long drive over to Hull. Yes I could visit one in Hull but by road its a lot further than by helicopter and I own a car not a helicopter.

Wondering why the app wont let me see a complete list of movies playing at "my" cinemas.

Thanks for great app! Guys complaining about ads probably want someone to put free gas in their car too!

This app is essential for any movie lover! Check the rotten tomatoes, watch trailers, read reviews, buy tickets, view showtimes...its all in here!!!

Been using this app for years and love it. Sometimes glitchy but all apps are. Now there are so many ads its annoying. Wish developers could find a happy balance.

It used to be great and my go-to app for movie reviews, show times, upcoming releases, etc. I think the biggest issue for me is my account is attached to an old email address that I dont even use nor is it valid, so theres no way to change it and update my account info. I also hate that if I sign out of Facebook, it wont let me add movies to my Watch List and so on. -_-

Love it, especially when I am in another city. It makes finding a theatre simple.

Used to be my favorite but now it takes forever to click out of advertising pop ups. Google is faster to get movie info.

Carmike 12 in dalton ga not listed anymore so app is now useless ... used to be a good app but even the portal to report problems did not work. After this review they corrected the problem.... thanks now my favorite app for movies is back!!

Use to best the best but now I cant even look for the closest movie theater. Please fix

Its protest time, people! Please dont use Fandango until they fix this app!! Flixster was great until Fandango associated with it. Now theyre removing functionality step by step, and its glitchier than its ever been. Fix it, provide ALL theater showings, and Ill be back, Fandango! Or NOT.

This app is very useful, use it all the time. Works great, accurate and easy to use.
