Flixster - Showtimes + Tickets App Reviews

Like the other reviews say this apps was great until I was forced to watch previews for over 2 mins. Everyone just delete the app let the marketing team learn a lesson for ruining the app.

i have used this app numerous times. each new experience lets me down. i dont want to watch ads. the preview in the movies are enough. use another service!

Ads come up and only give you an option to replay the ad and can never get to the content you are wanting.

This used to be a great app, then they updated it with ads that autoplay as soon as you click on a theater. Worse, the ad breaks the app, locking the screen on its final call to action. You cant exit, cant restart, cant do anything the app once offered. The app is completely broken.

New version is bad. Ads arent skippable and there is no way to exit some ads off of the screen when finished

Unskippable ads. Unacceptable and uninstalled.

Used to love this app, now considering deleting it since movie trailers start playing with no option to skip.

Cant use the app because it has trailer pop ups that you arent able to close. Even when I hit "get tickets" to try and get out of it, nothing happens. When the trailer is over it just has he replay option. Have tried closing out the app, to no avail. Prob just will delete and use a new movie showtime app,

I use Flixster all the time, especially going to the movies on a rainy day. I never have a problem with this app. One of the very few apps that I can trust and never has given me any false information. Whether were planning in advance or a last minute decision.

I tried using it today to find movies for my kids and I on Easter and they have an add that pops up for Gifted that will not close, even at the end of the add! The only option you have is to buy tickets. Ill be uninstalling it and I recommend NO ONE install it. Dont let this app hyjack your phone!!!!

Used to be a good app but today I tried to use it and it opened a full screen ad with no option to close or exit. Force closed the app and tried again and it did the same thing. Ive deleted the app and will find a different one that doesnt completely waste my time. Horrible user experience.

Been using flixster for years. Then one day a pop ad for a movie appears. I cant do anything until I watch the whole trailer. Then the trailer is over and I still cant see movie times. Sorry flixster. Its time to go. Dont use this thing unless you want to watch movie previews and NOT get local movie show times.

Yahoo movies used to me my go-to movie schedule provider. Then some PM decided it wasnt good enough and messed it all up with BS tiles. This Flixster is going the same route with the video ad before I can see the movie schedules. Im am uninstalling today.

This was my go to app for movies. But when you put in full screen ads that make it impossible to see descriptions because they cant be dismissed even after the content is done playing, Im not sure what youre thinking. Hopefully the advertisers notice how bad an idea this is too.

Hey, when I click on an upcoming movie, it plays a full-screen ad that HAS NO END!! I can rewatch it, or buy tickets through Fandango?! Try again ...this app is now broken. Stop with the god foresaken ads already

Flixster--This app does everything you need a movie app to do (& probably more) and its free, so shut up and give it 5 stars.

It keeps popping open a movie trailer and you can only select to buy tickets. What gives? This app used to rock for local movie theaters to see what was playing.

Cant look at movie reviews for the ads!

New ad for the movie Gifted wont go away! Preventing me from seeing movie times. You really should have more control over the ads you run.

What was once a great app is now absolutely useless. When I try to view show times an ad runs, and after completing there is no way to dismiss the ad and return to the app.
