One of the best app!
One of the best app!
The best movie App yet!!!
Come on. It got rid of showing which theaters are playing each movie, in the movie section? Just so fandango can make money and be the only option. Lame.
I dont need a lot of information. Flixster has been really consistent with its reviews and Rotten Tomato scores. Very user friendly. Im in my 60s and mostly use this for show times. Always updated and Ive never been sent to the wrong theater or the wrong time.
Fantastic!!!
Flixster used to link to the Riverview Theatre in Mpls and the Plaza Maplewood. But after the latest update these were the only two theatres removed from my favorite theatres list.
Delete! Looking for a new app that shows Canadian theatres too.
Every Friday no matter where I am, I check Flixter to find out whats opening. I watch trailers and check theaters as well. Dont know what Id do without it.
I would like to suggest that there be a share button so that you could send the movie reviews or the movie trailer to a friend via text. It would be helpful when you were deciding what movie to see with another person.
Its the only one have ever really used or downloaded
Movie goto app. List movies, distance, and contact numbers. Also lists new movies.
I love watching the trailers! Its the easiest way to decide which movies NOT to see. Flixster is so organized and easy to use. I especially like the favorite theater feature. Movies times are also always correct!
I really enjoy this app. Ive used a different app before but this is fairly easy and lots of information.
I can save theaters as favorites, pull up showtimes by movie alone. No real complaints here
Ive had this app for over a year now, and Ive loved it. I can read the reviews for certain movies, see showtimes, and write my own reviews. It should be the perfect app for a film buff like me, however, it falls flat on some aspects that many apps fall flat on. There are often too many advertisements for other films when I am clicking on a film that Im interested in. I will click on a film, new or old, and a poster for a film coming out the current week will pop up on the screen. I would be okay with this happening once or twice, but it literally happens every time I search for a movie or click on a movie. Secondly, the app force closes a lot. I will often be searching for a film, click on a film, or be reading a review for a film and the app will spontaneously shut down. This frustrates me as it happens a lot when I am in the middle of reading a review. Last, but certainly not least, there has to be a better system for the audience score. One, whenever I go to write my review, the page will only give me a certain amount of space to write my review before I have to close out, reopen, then redo the entire process over again until I can finally have my review fully written out. Secondly, the audience scores are often unreliable. Users will critique a film and give it 0 stars or 5 stars before the film is even released which will then give the pre-released film a bad rep before its even given a chance. I think this is unfair to the filmmakers, and it is unfair to the people who actually enjoy reading reviews and seeing the reactions from both critics and audience members. An example I can give of this is Ben Afflecks "Live By Night." A user gave the film 0 stars prior the release of the film and the only critique he gave it was "Ben Affleck? Ill pass." There needs to be a system that disables users from giving films a review before the film is officially released. Theres such a thing as Want to See, and maybe the creators of this app can expand on that portion and let users write down why they want to see the film in that section rather than giving it a 0-5 star review before its release date in the audience score section. I highly doubt this will be given notice, but its worth a shot. I like my movies, and I once really loved this app, but its gone downhill and Id like to see some change for the better.
Great for: -Looking up showtimes -Reviews/Ratings Not great for: -learning about the movie/show -UI can get a bit buggy when loading advertisements
This is the movie app to have. I learned about it from a friend and I rely on it for accurate reviews and times. Its great. ???
Some features just dont work. Example- it has trouble sometimes posting reviews to Facebook.
This is my go-to app for movie reviews and show times.
I dont know what happened to this app but I remember it used to be one of the best apps on my phone because I could easily pick out some tickets pay for him and just go straight to the movie theater. Now whenever I go onto the app all it does is crash and tell me after two seconds of being on the app that your session has been timed out due to inactivity. And on certain days it wont even tell you show times when youre looking at a brand-new movie on the weekend. So please app developers please look into this problem and please fix this.
